Our Story
Yankton Dental Clinic has been serving the Yankton community since 1990, providing exceptional dental care with a personal touch. What started as a small practice has grown into a trusted dental home for generations of families.

Our Caring & Professional Team
Jennifer
Jennifer joined our office in July 2019. She loves working with people and getting to know our patients. She is lucky to have the gift of gab!! She takes pride in helping patients further understand their dental insurance benefits. Jen and her husband, Scott, are proud parents of adult daughters, Mackenzie and Olivia. They will soon gain a son-in-law, Alex. Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, making hilarious t-shirts, and walking her dog Paisley.

Kim
Kim began working at Yankton Dental Clinic as a part-time dental hygienist in August 2017 and became full-time in February 2022. She grew up on a farm in Nebraska and graduated from the USD Dental Hygiene program. She holds a license for the administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as well. Kim has many years of dental hygiene experience and enjoys getting to know the patients. She takes pride in providing oral health and dental education to patients of all ages. When not working she can be found spending time with her husband Brian and their two children: Tempi and Talon. Kim enjoys riding ATVs on the farm, gardening, reading, and attending the kid’s activities.
Taunia
Taunia has been an essential provider at Yankton Dental Clinic since our grand opening in 2014. Taunia graduated with honors from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She grew up in Nebraska, where she also achieved an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Information Technology. She is patient-focused and driven to provide a personable experience along with the highest quality of care possible. Taunia enjoys building relationships with her patients and educating them on oral health and understanding the link to their overall systemic health. She prides herself on helping patients feel comfortable during their regular dental visits and designing homecare strategies to help maintain optimal oral health between professional cleanings. She has had diverse workplace experience in the prison system, health hospitals, and now private practice. Taunia has certified training in local anesthesia administration, nitrous oxide/oxygen sedation administration, as well as monitoring patients under IV sedation. In her free time, Taunia enjoys spending time with her husband Scott and their 5 children Caysen, Ava, Emma, Brynne, and Kyllan. She also loves reading, caring for her 2 cats, and binge-watching movies and TV shows.
Cristina
Yankton Dental Clinic has been very fortunate to have Cristina on our team since 2017. Cristina is great at putting patients at ease and helping make their visits as comfortable as possible. Fluent in English and Spanish, she enables our patients to receive excellent dental care. You can find Cristina assisting in all areas of our dental office, as she is very knowledgeable and willing to undertake new challenges. When Cristina is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, camping, and everyday fitness.
